First, you may be asking, ”What’s a street team?”. Street Teams are a cost-effective way to create the grassroots buzz that is necessary to move a musician’s career to the next level.

Now, once you join the street team you will receive updates on “missions” in regard to how you can help out. In exchange, you will receive Mark DeRose Music goodies and perks.

Spread Music & Promote Shows –
Blank flyers and handbills will be available for you to download online. Print ‘em out, write in the show’s details, hang ‘em up anywhere legal, give ‘em to your pals, stick ‘em under your coworkers coffee cups, tape ‘em to your chest if you are so devoted! Be creative, have fun and be earth friendly when it’s time for tear down and clean up!  

Recruit New Fans –
Bring your crew out to a show, buy a CD as a gift for a friend, casually play the tunes on repeat at your dinner party, sing the songs at a whisper to your significant other while they sleep, perform your favorite tune at an open mic! The power of the words of your mouth is HUGE!!!!

Drive Traffic –
Post a blog about the great time you had at a show, invite friends to check out markderosemusic.com on the net, download and play MDR songs on your MySpace home page, or paste “Tune Widgets” into your emails.

Help out at shows - 
Work the merchandise table or stick around after the show to hand out flyers! It’s expensive to bring a “helper” to every show on the road, having a helping hand at out of town shows is HUGE.
